Move into a client's home and provide dedicated, round-the-clock support. As a Live-In Carer at Henola Care you will build a genuine relationship with the person you support, enabling them to live comfortably and confidently in their own home.

Reports to: Care Coordinator
Location: The Service User's home,within our service area. You will reside in the home of the person you supportduring your placement.
Working Hours: As per yourindividual placement agreement, including agreed daily rest breaks and sleep-inarrangements in line with National Minimum Wage regulations.
As a Live-In Carer at Henola Careyou will move into a client's home and provide dedicated, continuous support toenable them to live comfortably and confidently in their own environment. Thisis an intensely rewarding role that requires maturity, professionalism andgenuine compassion. You will build a close, trusted relationship with theperson you support, becoming a consistent and stabilising presence in theirdaily life — while always maintaining clear professional boundaries.
• Support the Service User with allaspects of personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, continence careand mobility — in full accordance with their Care Plan and personal preferences
• Prepare meals and support withnutrition and hydration, respecting the Service User's tastes and dietaryrequirements
• Assist with light household tasksincluding laundry, cleaning and tidying to maintain a comfortable homeenvironment
• Support the Service User to engagein hobbies, social activities and appointments, promoting independence andactive participation in their own life
• Administer and record medicationin accordance with Henola Care policies and procedures
• Monitor and report any changes inthe Service User's health, wellbeing or care needs to the Care Coordinatorpromptly
• Respond calmly and appropriatelyto health-related situations and emergencies, following agreed protocols
• Respect the Service User's home,property and personal space at all times
• Maintain clear professionalboundaries appropriate to living in a client's home
• Manage your own rest breaks andsleep-in periods responsibly in accordance with your placement agreement
• Operate as an effective loneworker, with strong self-management and the ability to make sound decisionsindependently
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date CarePlans and daily records in accordance with Henola Care policy
• Communicate regularly with theCare Coordinator, reporting any concerns, changes or incidents without delay
• Maintain positive, professionalrelationships with the Service User's family and friends, where appropriate
• Promote and safeguard the welfareof the Service User at all times
• Recognise and report anysafeguarding concerns in accordance with Henola Care policy
• Attend all mandatory training, andany additional training as directed by management
• Follow all Henola Care policiesand procedures relevant to the role
