Lead and inspire our care team as the CQC Registered Manager for Henola Care. You will oversee all aspects of service delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive our commitment to outstanding care. Reports to: Registered Provider

Location: Henola Care Ltd —home-based operations across our service area. You may be required to work fromother locations with appropriate notice.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday,8:30am – 5:00pm, plus any additional hours required by the demands of the role.

 

Role Overview

The Registered Manager isresponsible for the overall leadership, management and quality of caredelivered by Henola Care Ltd. You will act as the nominated individual with theCare Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring the service operates in full compliancewith legislative requirements, regulations and best practice standards. Youwill set the culture of the organisation — one that is open, inclusive,person-centred and continuously improving.

 

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management

•       Provide strategic leadershipacross all functions of Henola Care Ltd including care delivery, administrationand people management

•       Develop and communicate strategicplans, goals and quality objectives for the organisation

•       Create and uphold an open,positive and inclusive management culture

•       Oversee the implementation andongoing review of all company policies and procedures

•       Market the service and support thegrowth of the business in line with agreed plans

People Management

•       Lead recruitment, selection andinduction of all staff in accordance with company policy

•       Lead, motivate and develop staffto their full potential, supporting succession planning

•       Conduct supervisions and annualappraisals for all heads of department and senior staff

•       Ensure multidisciplinary teamworking is embedded throughout the service

Quality & Compliance

•       Ensure the service meets andmaintains CQC registration requirements and all relevant regulatory standards

•       Liaise with the RegisteredProvider, ensuring all reports are submitted accurately and on time

•       Develop and maintain accurate,compliant records across all areas of service provision

•       Promote and safeguard the welfareof all individuals supported by the service

Financial Management

•       Maintain operations within agreedfinancial budgets and parameters set by the Provider

•       Monitor weekly expenditure andensure all equipment is purchased within budgetary limits

•       Understand, read and contribute tothe Provider's budget planning processes

Communication & StakeholderEngagement

•       Regularly seek feedback fromService Users, families, staff and external stakeholders

•       Plan and attend regularstakeholder meetings to remain abreast of expectations and concerns

•       Communicate effectively using arange of methods appropriate to different audiences
